PRE-OPERATING PROCEDURES

2-10. General

This section contains theory of operation, startup, normal operation and shutdown procedures for

the Large Field Refrigerated System and associated components.

Two personnel are the minimum number recommended to safely and efficiently setup the Large

Field Refrigerated System (LFRS).

2-11. Fluid and Lubrication Requirements

Check oil sight glass for oil level range, with the compressor off, oil level should be between the

bottom and one-eighth level of the sight glass. Add Castrol Icematic oil as necessary.
